The Bar Code Attendance Scanner that interfaces with WorshiPlanner
What you can do with WP Check-in:
With WP Check-In, your choir members walk past the counter-top scanner with their nametag, folder, or key-ring bar code, and are quickly entered into the system. Within a minute of the last person checking-in, you can have a list of absentees, print mailing labels, or you can send an email to all of them in just moments. Now you can have paperless roll keeping.
What you need:
- WorshiPlanner
- WP Check-in
- Computer that has enough RAM to run Windows 2000. The software can be loaded on multiple computer, and may be networked.
- Bar Code Scanner Symbol - LS 9203
We recommend the Symbol LS 9203 counter top scanner, because it is omni-directional, which makes the check-in process quicker. Any bar code scanner will work, but a counter top scanner is hands free. The scanner is a separate purchase, and the cost is less than $300.
